THEME: “Story Tellers, Fables and Fiction”. This year you can enter work that tells a story in your painting, block prints, collage, photos, ceramics, etc. This is your interpretation and we would like two or three sentences on the story you see in your artwork. These will be displayed next to your artwork.
MEDIUMS CONSIDERED: ALL
Painting, sculpture, fiber, mosaic, ceramic, metal, graffiti (on canvas, paper or board), paper, collage, drawings, pencil, charcoal, photography, etc
MAXIMUM SIZE: Works can be any size with a maximum size not to exceed 36″. Works larger than 24″ x 36″ framed will not be considered due to space considerations. All work must be ready to hang – this means that it MUST have hardware on the back to hang from a nail OR it MUST have hanging wire on closed hooks. If not stretched on a frame then it should be in a picture frame or have a wire on back to hang on the wall. Sculptures should be able to sit on a pedestal or on the floor. Students may call if they need clarification or help with hanging requirements. PHOTOS MUST be a minimum of 8″ x 10″ before framing.
FEES to Apply: None, but all who enter must be a high school student.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all High School Students in surrounding areas.
COMMISSION: Artist receives 50% of the sale price / the gallery receives the remaining 50%. All works must be for sale and remain on the premises for the entire show.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS & ENTRY FEES:
*You may enter up to 3 artworks for consideration.
*Entries should be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org with “Story Tellers” submission & School Name” in the subject line
*Please send jpegs at a minimum of 500 KB and a maximum of 1mb per photo. NO images over 1 MB.
*Label each jpeg with the following: artists name, title, media, dimensions, school.
Deadline for submission: 12/16
Last day to submit/email photos of work and application to gallery, (photos are not expected to be professional).
Notification of acceptance Week of: 121/9
Applicants will be notified of juried selection.
Delivery of work:
Students who were selected will deliver work.
Drop off before holidays – 12/23 – 12pm-6pm, 12/24- 11am- 1pm (or by apptmt)
Drop off after xmas – 12/26 – 12.27– 4–7 pm, 12/30 (by apptmt), 1/2 11am-7pm
